• Dedicated Circuit: Recommended

• Low power electronics and motion systems

Best Practices

• Use a surge protector or UPS

• Avoid shared circuits with high-load equipment

2. Gas Requirements 

Argon Supply

• Gas Type: Argon (clean, dry) or Nitrogen

• Grade 5 Purity

• Supply: Standard laboratory argon cylinder

• Pressure:

  • ~50 psi (0.34 MPa)

  • Regulator: Dual-stage regulator recommended

No external air compressor or vacuum pump is required.

3. Space & Benchtop Requirements

Bench Space

• Minimum Width: ~48 in (90 cm)

• Recommended Width: 48–60 in (120–150 cm)

• Depth: ≥30 in (75 cm)

• Vertical Clearance: ≥30 in (75 cm)

Bench Requirements

• Rigid, level, vibration-free surface

• Chemical-resistant surface recommended

  • Plate loading
