Where to Find the Serial Number

The serial number of the instrument is typically found on a sticker located on the side of the instrument near the power plug.

Example of Serial Number Information

In one instance, a user reported the following details from the sticker:

  • Type: H - 8 - SE
  • Werk-Nr. 748    115V (Werk-Nr. is the German abbreviation for serial number, Werksnummer)

In this example, the serial number is 748

On Shasta Systems the label is usually on the back of the instrument:

 

In this example, the serial number is BBAB071625N02

Conclusion
